Just needed something to eat. Great food and value for money. A slight delay in getting the menus, but all okay when received food.
Had the pleasure of finally experiencing a meal at Kota Joe Edenvale. The assistance and service received from Ishmael was top notch. Food was delicious with generous portions. It was worth the drive and just loved the vibe with the music and energy from everyone.Can't wait to go back
If I over react in my review, please note that I feel it is necessary to get my point across. The service was stupendously, shockingly poor and slow. I can get a three course meal quicker at home affairs. Upon arrival, we were left standing like headless chickens, by waitresses who were not attending anyone. We had to ask them to attend to us. After going to the waiters myself MULTIPLE times, our drinks came almost 40 minutes later. This was painfully slow service and poor service to the point where I thought it was personal. So please, please do not dine in here, it will just ruin your mood. Now for the food, an exact opposite of the service, food is brilliant. The menu has anything and everything you can expect, and you will undoubtedly return to try all items on there, from Pizza, Wraps, Kotas, Burgers, Loaded Fries, Onion Rings, Ribs, Nuggets and their milkshakes. My burger was loaded with topping generously, and the taste of the patty itself was beefy and of quality. The chips were crispy and very well seasoned. The milkshakes are epic too and did not disappoint, it wasn't overly sweet or too thick to drink like other establishments. I can't wait to be back, but very honestly I'll probably try the other Johannesburg branches first before torturing myself with service like this again.
We ordered a cheesy beef pastrami, the white cheese sauce was horrible, didnβt look like a cheese sauce as advertised in the picture on their menu. The bun was soggy and all I could taste was the green peppers and the horrible cheese sauce that tasted like powder - Woolies sells actual cheese sauce thatβs enjoyable with every meal. Very disappointed actually.
This place is amazing, the food is scrumptious, I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try something new.
Every thing was ok except there is a part of the restaurant where the sun hits so bad that side has no shutters 🥵😥
I absolutely loved every moment. I was greeted by friendly helpful staff. Showed to a table. The menu has everything for everyone. Every dish is well described. Great variety for every taste 👌. I had the Classic Burger with chips. It was delicious, I ate everything, my plate was eaten clean. Drank a cuppachino, it was hot and creamy, njamm.I stay 40min drive from Kota Joe Edenvale. But that will be a drive worth it.It has been some time since I ate at a place where I felt welcome and that serving me was a pleasure and not a punishment.The place is clean, and the condiments are great.What a surprise to get the bill with real "chappies" and I loved reading the "did you know"When in the vicinity, do yourself a favor and visit Kota Joe.Awesomeness at its best. 🤗
It is amazing, good for winter since you donβt have to get out of the car to order/collect. It is also great for kids, my son was excited when they gave him a balloon, friendly staff not to mention the food🤤👌🏾🔥
It was unreal to get visit a kota joint this fancy and with kota's tasting like they were made by 5 star chefs it was delicious 🥹♥️

Best Milkshakes by far..... Really Great tasting food.. Have the option to sit in, take away or just eat in your car. Really convenient as the waiters come to you as you drive in. Nice atmosphere, with music playing and a big screen to entertain you whilst you wait.
I should have came hungry. The food was a lot. Had Cheesy Beef Pastrami Kota, my partner had Jozi Kota. Had dessert with was more enjoyable than the kota. Would not recommend a take away, a sit down and eat is better as the food doesn't get soggy. Cannot recommend the dishes i orders. Will come back again to try other dishes.
